Detached properties in the hinterland of the Orange Blossom Coast, most of them on large plots of land, usually situated 2 to 10 miles from the sea and a major town. They can vary from smaller country houses to big luxury villas. Also some masias for renovation and some new developments and off plan property.
Holiday Apartments and flats in the Spanish seaside towns, terraced and semi detached houses and villas at or near the beach. A lot of these properties can be found in the urbanisations which tend to have an international clientele. The main seaside towns on the Orange Blossom Coast are Vinaros, Benicarlo, Peniscola and Alcossebre.

Most fincas are on rustic land, which usually means it is classified as agricultural. You will need a minimum of 10,000m2 in order to be allowed to build a house on it. At the moment the price per square meter is still very reasonable, especially if you compare it to regions in the provinces of Valencia and Alicante.
Buying off plan can be a good choice if you do not necessarily want to use your property straight away or are buying mainly for the reason of investment. The further away the date of completion, the greater the savings, but you have to take into account the general market conditions and the predictions for the time until completion. But Spain in general and the Orange Blossom Coast in particular are being regarded as an excellent place for investing in property, so the risk of not making any profit out of buying off plan should be at a minimum.
