Here you can find a selection of plots of land, mostly fincas on rustic land but also some plots on urban / building land. Most of the rural fincas are very close to the sea, about 10-20 minutes by car.
About Planning Permission for building on Rustic Land in Castellon:
Unless there is already a building on these fincas you will need a plot of more than 10,000m2 in order to be allowed to build a house. It is normally possible to build on up to 2% of the land (10,000m2 of land - up to 200m2 on the ground floor plus up to 200m2 on the first floor), but there are currently limits of a total of 300m2 / 600m2 in some municipalities. The town hall of Calig does currently not issue any more planning permissions for rustic land.
You will also need access to water, which in most cases can be achieved by drilling a well or connecting to community water (you will need permission from the local town hall to drill for a well).
Delivery of water to a cisterna is possible, but not normally sufficient for obtaining planning permission. It should only be considered if you are planning to place a caravan / mobile home on your land, not if you want to build a house that you want on the deeds.
Electricity could be supplied by solar panels and / or a generator and a connection to the national grid is not normally required for planning permission.
