Living in and around Calig
Calig is a traditional small town only eight kilometres from the sea and beaches, which makes it very convenient for people looking to live in the typical Spanish surroundings of an inland village with easy access to the seaside towns and beaches.
Calig has a pretty centre, made up of traditional type village houses, and there are a number of shops, restaurants, banks etc. and also a hotel. In town you are now able to get broadband internet connections.
Three different types of property settings can be found in the area of Calig.
Firstly the traditional town or village house in the old part of town. A lot of these houses have been restored, but there are still village properties that need to be renovated.
Then there are some new urbanisations around Calig, where you can find terraced and semi detached houses. Also off plan property is available.
Finally in the countryside around Calig are a number of detached villas built on rural plots, which usually have stunning views of the countryside and sometimes also the coastline.
